7 DAYS

Mount Urus + Ishinca + Tocllaraju

CLIMB OVERVIEW

Duration 7 days
Difficulty Technical
Range of Altitude 3,700m to 6,032m / 12,139ft to 19,790ft
Distance Covered Approximately 50km

This 7D6N Mount Urus + Ishinca + Tocllaraju trip combines the 3D2N Mount Urus Climb (see here), 3D2N Mount Ishinca Climb (see here) and 4D3N Mount Tocllaraju Climb (see here).

We have specially designed this combination of climbs for those who are interested on taking on all three peaks due to the convenience of Ishinca base camp being centrally located between them (making for easy access).

The expedition will commence with the relatively easier climbs to Mount Urus and Mount Ishinca, which will act as good acclimatization and warm-up climbs and provide climbers with little climbing experience with the chance to work on fundamental climbing techniques. The itinerary has been designed to enable climbers to acclimatize and build physical resistance, before embarking on the towering Mount Tocllaraju, which is a more demanding and technical climb.

It is essential that climbers are in excellent physical shape and are well acclimatized given the high altitudes and long trekking distances.
